We all know Tenang will be won by BN, regardless of what might happen during the campaign trails. It's only a question of majority, the Chinese mood and the Indian sentiment. Felda is out of the picture due to their strong loyalty to UMNO.

I have long expected Tedewin Ngumbang, an influential PRS member to quit the party and BN. He has been very vocal in his blog, voicing out issues affecting the Dayak community without fear. I expect Masing to make some move within these few days, although I have always hoped that he would bring the party out of BN so as to effectively champion the Dayaks' cause. PRS could not function within the BN spectrum.

2010 wasn't kind to me; I experienced one of the toughest moments in my life, a defining period, a difficult time. Somehow I struggled to make an impact. I was my own shadow. I struggled academically, spiritually, mentally and physically. Luckily I still managed to scrap through, performing well enough to avoid criticisms. But I knew I could have done better. Something was wrong; something was amiss. I have only myself to blame. I need to figure it out.

I shouldn't envy other people's successes, instead, they should serve as a form of encouragement for me to strive harder. I can reach the pinnacle.

I shouldn't feel sad, for that prolongs my negative feelings. You can't recover lost time. So I must utilise my time to the fullest by carrying out beneficial activities.

I should look forward, though I can't discount the possibility of looking backwards. I need strength and wisdom to go through all this, God, please, guide me.

I must take cues from my past mistakes, and never take things for granted. Even a small little thing of which the significance may not be realised yet.

I know it is incumbent on me to focus and re-energise myself. There's no point regretting. What's on my table now? A stack of files and papers. That is where your attention should be.

You know if you smile too often it's not always a good thing. You try to portray a good and cheerful image of self but it may be interpreted otherwise. Hence, be careful and stay alert. Be yourself, that's the key advice.

You want to be loyal to a girl.

If you flunk everything there's nothing you can do about it. It's easy to say and advise but it's tough to accept and digest.

I learnt many new things. 6 months to go and my destination should be decided already. I will walk my own path and strive for my goals. Noble goals? Goals that people would dismiss as almost impossible and ambitious.

Come tomorrow I shall refocus and make myself clear on my priorities and goals, which I've been longing for.

Misuse of public funds has to be stopped

I'm a student and just like every other citizen of this country, am particularly concerned about the recently released Auditor-General’s report.

Every year when this report is compiled and made public, we will see misuse and misappropriation of funds, power abuse and several other shortcomings.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but throughout the years, the government has been lackadaisical in taking actions against those who have been flouting the rules.

Even if action is taken, if any, they were half-hearted. The Prime Minister has said once again that action would be taken. Just how far this will take place remains to be seen.

Misuse of funds, which is people’s money, has caused uneasiness among the people.

We hope that with the recent directive by the Chief Secretary to the government, that the Auditor-General writes in to heads of department urging actions to be taken against those concerned, the situation could be remedied.

This problem resurfaces every year. Here, I would suggest that a taskforce, headed by Sidek Hassan himself, be set up to probe the findings of the report. This would make a better initiative than asking the heads of departments to do the job.

Rope in all parties, including the police and Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, to investigate in detail each and every case in the report.

Leave no stones unturned. The misuse of public funds has to be stopped. Another report would be out soon. So it is urgent that the government springs into action now.

It is also vital for the government to come up with long-term measures so as to minimise these abuses. I trust that the government will be able to do this well. The rakyat would be watching closely.

The time has come for employees to get themselves heard, and at the same time, employers must be all ears to their complaints. The proposed amendments to the Employment Act should be welcomed at all costs, at it generates greater responsibility in employers.

Sexual harassment cases are not unheard of, therefore it is timely that these amendments be given attention by all quarters, including the Malaysian Employers Federation (MEF), who, understandably, voiced out their concern on behalf of the employers.

Politics and education don't mix, do they?

For goodness sake, please repeal the Universities & University Colleges Act 1971. This act does not provide for students to participate in democratic processes and engage themselves in politics. Or else, face the music and be charged in court. Students are the future leaders of the country, they should be allowed to participate actively in politics. This is a good avenue to nurture themselves and unleash their potential. If not, brain drain?

Why can't I undergo the internship? Arghh..I have made up my mind, I know the consequences, but I did weigh the pros and cons. Be extremely cautious, that is the rule of the game.

08/01/2010 is indeed a dark day in Malaysian history. The Metro Tabernacle Church in Kuala Lumpur, the Assumption Church and Life Chapel Church, both in Petaling Jaya were partly damaged by arson attacks.

Indeed 1Malaysia is nowhere to be seen. Although initially we could see the fireworks of this concept, but we got rattled whenever a serious case resurfaces. This proves that Malaysians are still fragile. We are shaken.

We should let the court to decide and run its course of action. We Malaysians are wise people, hope you agree with me, although some may not, because of recent happenings. But that doesn't mean we should keep quiet, not in that sense. We are free to voice our opinions, as certain segments of the community beg to differ in their opinions

Peace be with you all. This is indeed a dark day, and would be recorded in the history of this wonderful nation.

I am typing this with a heavy hard, with a lot of things in my mind. Troubled as it may seem, I could not settle down well all this while. I just couldn’t figure out the reasons as to why this happened. But I know, I always put my hope in Him, I have faith, which is the most important thing. I promised myself to do well, but now, this hinges on myself. Thanks to the support of everyone concerned, I managed to pull it through bit by bit. I failed to describe the pain and difficulties in my heart. At times I feel like I am a failure. And sometimes I begin to wonder whether I made the right choice or not, although there’s no turning back. But still, there’s room to ponder. Maybe it’s time to stop, and fulfil my own promise to do well.

I am grateful for what I have, for being me. I can accept if things happen suddenly, as in the case of my acceptance into my current college. Thank God. There’s no word that can describe my feelings now.

I rejoice in my friends’ happiness. That’s true. Hey my friend of 13 years, happy happy oh ;)

I don’t know why, everytime I am about to leave this place, sadness will fill me. Arghhhhhhhhhh...grandma, tears are always in my eyes. You won’t know, nobody will know. Why tears? She has done a lot for me, I am certain nobody on earth would be able to replace her. Arghhhh..

It is tough, really tough, when you have to go through all of them by yourself, stand on your own feet, be on guard against any external disturbances, open your eyes, be alert. It’s tough, when at times people condemn you, blame you, point fingers at you. It is as if you are on the wrong side, everything you do is wrong, nothing is absolutely correct in the eyes of those people. No matter how hard you tried, how much effort you put in, it’s still the same. Sometimes being honest is quite a mistake, don’t you think so? It might cost you something important, well, I prefer to be honest rather than cheating to get what I desire. God is everywhere, be mindful of that. Thank God, for He is the only one who could understand me. He is the one who determines your path in life, never give up of Him.

Friends are wonderful, don’t you think so? They console you when debacles come to you. Ohhh, a thought comes to my mind. The friends I met during my interviews. Hazim, Pavitra, errrr??? I have forgotten the names of some others. Those people are awesome lot, really. Nice to meet them^^
And of course, my friends from Miri, you guys are always in my mind. Hoho..

The past two months have taught me the true meaning of life. I finally understand the true meaning of both happiness and sadness. I have been troubled, not knowing what to expect, where to go, what to do, what is my future and so on. At a time, I feel privileged and grateful to God for I was selected to attend the interviews. Yeah, the others have better results than mine, and perhaps better qualities and qualifications too. Thank God, I made it to the interviews, did well, but due to certain reasons for which I might know one of them, I did not make the final list. Sad, depressed, hurt. Appealed, tried hard, made every effort, yet to no avail. A last-minute thought saved me, and probably guaranteed my future too. Here I am, in one of the top A-Levels colleges in Southeast Asia, according to Encik Azman. Granted a full scholarship, everything paid by them, I could not expect anything better. At here, I could meet scholarship holders of various organizations, such as PNB, MARA, Bank Negara, Petronas, Yayasan Sabah, Yayasan Terengganu,, Khazanah Nasional, JPA, UEM and so on. Thank God for his grace and mercy, and relentless efforts, not giving up in praying , hoping for a miracle to happen, and lastly, always believe in what God can do for us. I promise myself to do well, in order to secure scholarships for my degree. When I look back, I was at the brink of going down the hill, but in just one second, I started to go higher up the hill. Such a wonderful experience! Folks, put your hope in God, He will never disappoint you!!

one week notice..and the airtickets were quite expensive=.=..i went though,just wanna try my luck..went with my mum on the 22nd..we stayed in bukit bintang and my goodness,you can find a lot of massaging centres there...zzzz...not interested at all..hahax..the next day,we went to UEM Mercu quite early,around 10am we were there already..the interview was rather fun..it wasn't that tense though...hmmmm....and we were asked to write an essay..we were each gven different topics..and mine was,the success of Malaysia does not depend only on its economy and information and communication technology,but also on how to build a Malaysia society tha tis morally spiritually and mentally strong and healthy..huh?such a long topic =.=..aidi..and that night we stayed at chow kit..changing place..hahaha..shopping and eating..that's what i did..nothing much..hmmm...flew back on the 24th...some people asked me,why i went for 3 days only..ahahah..my mum needs to work de eh..haih..and now..i am left waiting..so scary...1600 applied,48 were called for interview and i think they only give out 20 scholarships..=((((((((..jiayou!!!

Sorry for not posting anything all this while..lazy..and kinda boreddd...hahaa..went to kl recently for TNB's interview..wad the..it's not that easy as some people thought..Yayasan Tenaga Nasional..no idea where it was..UNITEN was situated at kajang..haha..so my mum and I stayed at serdang...kinda near..we went there early around 7am..the interview was slated to start at 8am..there were around 17 people..and 2 from the Land of Hornbills, including me..haha..firstly, we were asked to do a profiling test..it's about your strengths and weaknesses..then you will have to construct a graph..it's pretty complicated..haha..next..we were divided into groups of four..i was in the last group cuz they grouped us according to the registration number..i was among the lastT.T..all the interviewees were rather humble and friendly..almost all scored straight As..the competition was tough..an all of them have strong personalities..haha..glad to know them..

there were 3 interviewers..all were big shots of Yayasan TNB..first they asked us to convince them why we deserve the scholarship..it was like an introduction too...next, they gave a question which we were supposed to debate..haha..i was the opposer..the topic was internet brings more harm than good..huhh..i thought that this topic was better than what the other groups got..thank God^^

since i applied for accountancy, the interviewers asked me some tough questions =(..like..what is TNB's financial status?how much is TNB's debt?is TNB facing any problems?is TNB making profits?

omg..i did my homework..i searched for information regarding TNB..luckily i managed to answer some of the questions..haih..heard they are only giving out 20 scholarships..for overseas one..and 228 were selected for the interview..just hope for the best....pray for me!!!!

These few days i have been really occupied to the extent that i cant finish what i am doing..=.=..well..3 months passed so fast..in one glance i am back to Miri..that was one day before the SPM results were released..haha..many people asked how i spent my time at kuching..well..everyday passed so fast..went for my driving lesson, then test which i passed, thank God for the jpj guy was not kind to me =(..he was kinda rude actually..what's wrong with me ar..lol....thank God i passed..if i failed, that jpj guy would haunt me till now..hahax..and yeah, back to Miri on the 11th..went to Pong's Cafe that night to celebrate sister's birthday..n slept late that night..
on the 12th, went to school quite late..around 10.30 i guess?huhhh..and i havent even got my slip when i was asked to go around and look for those excellent achievers..huhhhh...haih..

nowadays..everyday...online..seriously..my eyes become sore already..tired eyes..=.=haha..
uhuh..and i celebrated cny in sarikei.which was fun because i got to meet my mum's relatives..it has been a long time since i last met them..gonna miss them so much..hmmmm...looking forward to the future..everyone is going to further their studies soon, in fact, some went off already..so sad..wish them all the best..
past memories keep haunting me..either good or bad, i will treasure them..i am not really settled down here..miri is a nice place, yes..but maybe..maybe..not to me..haih..i wish i can wake up everyday with a healthy state of mind..

hey everyone!!!!it has been a long time since i last posted something..haha..too busy..n sometimes feel very lazy to blog..well..my results are not very good..i have to do some soul-searching..i have to work hard once again..maybe i did not study well for this exam..to a certain extent,i regret dat..haiz...well..the damage is done..and i can take heart from the fact dat semester exam is more important..everything is not lost to me..i still have time to bounce back and i will start from now!!!!!believe me..
for the past few days,the 6 heads had just conducted the interview on the calon pengawas..i would reserve my comments on them until a suitable time..well,i have one advice to them,prove to us wad u can do to the board..
as my life goes on,i learn many wonderful things which require my attention..i learn many useful lessons in life which taught me to be more alert..i am grateful for everything God gives me..i will treasure it until the end of my life..Praise the Lord for giving me this wonderful life!!!
it is goin to b quite a long time again before i post another one..don't lose heart,everyone..and continue to work hard!!

hi evryone..im bak..at least for now..haha..well..we juz had our sports day..i would say it was a success,even though there were many shortcomings..as fro me..i took part in 2 events..d 1st one..was a failure for me..i was greatly disappointed with my own performance on d track dat day..suddenly i slowed down with about 2oometres to go..my energy juz faded away..n i could nt kip my mind focused..haiz..well..a lesson well-learnt for me..mayb i was too tired on dat day..i guess i did too much work drg d rehat..carried stuffs..running ol over d stadium..here n there..btw,edric gt fell down wen he was about to pass d baton to his teammate drg d 4x400m race..he injured his hand..n there was a little blood on his lips..n luming too..he fainted..i couldn't bliv my eyes wen he reli fainted..ol these years..i have been in d same team as him..n he never fainted..well..i knew he was hungry..b4 d race as he did nt eat much..n he did tel me da the wil try his best n dat he could faint at d finishing line..n he did..i was stunned..n ohya..matteus too..he omos fainted..he was too tired after running dat race..n me too..i felt sooo tired. at least yesterday..i did much much better..before d race..our team did nt receive a boost as we were given d 8th lane,which according to atheletes,is nt a gud one..i was trying to motivate my teammates..luming,hasif n chekong..dat we can do well..we managed to gt 5th for dat(4x100metres) race..i was d 1st runner..n actually i had put my team in a strong position wen i was among d fastest one..bt well..we make mistakes sumtimes..hasif omos fell down..maby he could nt control his body well after he received d baton from me..n luming omos drooped d baton wen he wanted to pass it to chekong..n there it was..we finished 5th..well..we accept dat as team spirit is more important..mistakes do occur,bt d most important thg is we ol learn from it..next year i do not hav d chance to run again,bt i hope Lim can do better..

n there was dis bunch of ppl who do nt hav d brain to thk..dey r too ego..their ego goes above their head..until dey hav to fight,punch n kick dis little boy..come on la..wake up..even if there is a problem..no matter wad problem it is..if u wanna solve it by fighting,u r brainless!!seriously..fighting means u r juz dragging d problem into a more serious one..fighting wont solve anythg..thk..u hav brain..use ur brain to thk rationally..y nt discuss thgs properly?n hav a gud chat on how to solve ur problem?nuts..these ppl r nuts..

oh..exam is coming soon..next monday..i gotta study hard..evry1 is working very hard..n putting in more efforts in their quest to perform to their best..so wake up evry1..strive hard..lastly..all d best!!jiayou!!

wow..it has been 1 week since i last posted sumthg here..i have been very busy these few days..anyway,i do not intend to post a long one today..haha..
juz came bak from eastwood..went there twice in 3 days for dinner..d place is absolutely fantastic..d ballroom is great..bt d only hiccup is d food..sori to say,bt i would say dat ol d food there r nt dat nice..haha..its either too sweet or too salty..lol..

my recent results r nt convincing enuf..i gotta do better..n study harder..so ppl,do ur best once again!!!

everyone was so excited today..some were getting presents,while some were

not..some could just sit down there watching the others rejoicing with their presents..well,to me,if someone admires u and u do not get anythg,it does not mean dat u are lonely..sometimes dey r too shy to gv u..or perhaps u r too shy to gv to d one u admire..hahax..love is in d air~~..bt today is juz like d other days..hahax..well,we had 3 tests today..i was quite confident,n i bliv i can score gud marks..

this holiday is full of homeworks..no thanx to mdm.ha..well,my frens..luk at d positive side of homeworks..by doin homeworks,we r actually giving ourselves a gud practice..i bliv,most of us do nt study at home..neither do we do exercises..haha..so,homeworks r very important..do it..practise urself..familiarise urself wif d questions..u wont regret..
